    After returning from Iraq, he pursued higher education in biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma, graduating with honors in 2010. His passion for healthcare guided him to the Oklahoma State Center of Health Sciences, where he completed his medical education in 2014. He further solidified his career in medicine by excelling in his Family Medicine Residency at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington State, becoming a Board Certified Family Physician in 2017, a title he proudly holds to this day.


    Garrison’s professional journey is as remarkable as his military service, with a 16-year tenure in the U.S. Army from 2005 to 2021. His role as a family physician underscores his humanistic approach to healthcare, showing a deep-seated commitment to community service. From 2017 to 2021, he served as a Brigade Surgeon, skillfully managing troop deployments to the Middle East during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. His affiliation with the American Academy of Family Physicians highlights his dedication, marking a decade of distinguished service.
